What Do SLPs Need To Start?

Before starting online speech therapy with TinyEYE, there are a few requirements.

1.) Spark: Online Speech Therapy requires a different skill set (which can be taught) since you need to be able to engage a child through a webcamera and headset. What we can't train you on is your spark. We look for SLPs who are vibrant and know how to make children feel like they are the most important people in the world.

2.) Hardware: You will need a recent computer with a webcamera (built in or separate) and headset (with mic). More specifically, here are the min requirements for different computer operating systems

Windows XP
2 GB of RAM
P4 with 2GHZ processor or equivalent

Windows Vista / Windows 7
3 GB of RAM
P4 with 3GHZ processor or equivalent

Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard)
2 GB of RAM
P4 with 2GHZ processor or equivalent
